The Rotary Club of San Jose Del Monte successfully conducted LOGOUT HATE: Empowering Teens Against Cyberbullying — a peace-building seminar aimed at ending bullying and cyberbullying. This meaningful initiative
was held in partnership with the Interact Club of Paradise Farms National High School and in coordination with the Rotaract Club of San Jose Del Monte.
The seminar took place on August 6, 2025 at Paradise Farms National High School, Brgy. Tungkong Mangga, San Jose Del Monte, gathering over 100
student leaders from various school-based organizations and councils.
Two inspiring guest speakers shared their expertise:
John Ray Quizon, a Registered Criminologist, book author, and Program Chair of the College of Criminal Justice Education at Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College, discussed the basic concepts of bullying and the existing laws that combat it, equipping students with legal knowledge and awareness.
Zaira Patricia Baniaga, a BA Broadcast Communication graduate, Cum Laude, from the University of the Philippines Diliman and current head of her own creative studio, talked about the context of cyberbullying and provided practical strategies on how to avoid and handle it effectively.
The event underscored the importance of fostering a peaceful, respectful, and safe environment for young learners — both in school grounds and in the digital space. Through engaging discussions and empowering messages, participants were inspired to become advocates of kindness and champions against hate
