Information Cum Serbisyo Caravan
Back
The Rotary Club of San Jose Del Monte proudly joined the Information cum Serbisyo Caravan organized by the Philippine Information Agency, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), and the Sorsogon Communicator's Network last August 15, 2025 in Donsol, Sorsogon.
As part of our commitment to service, the Club was able to help by providing rice assistance to 150 beneficiaries—including pregnant women, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and members of the indigenous people (IP) community.
This caravan aims to bring government services closer to the indigenous people and the wider community of Donsol. By making social services more accessible — whether in health, livelihood, education, financial literacy, or agriculture —people are empowered to improve their quality of life. Rotary believes this empowerment contributes to inclusive and sustainable economic development, ensuring equal access for all Filipinos and leaving no one behind.
The activity was made possible in coordination with various government agencies and institutions, including the Department of Agriculture, Philippine Statistics Authority, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Sorsogon State University, and the Kasanggayahan Toastmasters Club.
With over 500 indigenous people in attendance, the caravan brought not only servicesbut also hope, dignity, and opportunity to the heart of Donsol.
Para sa Katutubo ng Donsol!
